A little about Adrienne!

Hello everyone! My name is Adrienne Kinder. I am senior at ASU. I am transfer student from Lenoir-Rhyne University. I love Boone, however I think it snows a little too much!

My hometown is Newton, North Carolina. I am an only child, but have 3 dogs and 2 cats which I consider my siblings. I am a huge family person and am very blessed to have such incredible parents. I have very supportive friends as well.

I love to read. I am currently reading The Lovely Bones. I love music; Coldplay, U2, Bruce Springsteen, and Kings of Leon are a few of my favorites. I have a boyfriend of 4 years and 4 months who lives in Raleigh, so I spend some of my weekends there.

Some things that I LOVE:

I have a huge fascination with anything that deals with Ireland.It’s one of the most spectacular places and I have dreams of living there someday.

Italian and Japanese are two of my favorite types of food. I could eat one of these two everyday for every meal. When either is placed in front of me, I devour it.

Fall is my favorite season. The weather during this time is perfect; not too cold and not too hot, just right.

My family, boyfriend and friends are the most important people in my life. I cherish every moment that I spend with them. How much they mean to is immeasurable.

When I have time to  read for pleasure, I could read for hours upon hours. Reading allows me to travel to other places.

Animals are some of the most precious creatures that God put on the earth. I have  a fondness of dogs and cats and think that they are extremely entertaining.

I am very big Virginia Tech fan and if you watch/go to a game with my family and I, it gets pretty intense.

I am a huge supporter of Relay for Life and have a team with my friends called “Save the TaTa’s”.

What do I look like?:

When looking at me, you see a girl with chestnut-colored eyes with chocolate-colored hair. My hair reaches my shoulders and is stick straight. I am about 5’6 and have about an average weight for my body type. If you see me on campus, i’m usually in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, but outside of school and class, I like to sparse up a little bit. I wear make-up, but not a lot. I have very fair skin, however I do not mind at all.

Things that I dislike:

I do not like being alone. I would much rather be in a crowd of people then to be completely isolated. I get my energy from others.

Spiders scare me to death. I do not like to even glance at one.

I do not like that so many people go through poverty. It saddens me to know there so many less fortunate people in the world.

Tomatoes are NOT my thing. Even when cut small, I will take them out of my salads. Liars and cheaters on low my list. Just tell me the truth and i’ll appreciate you more.

How do I act? :

I believe that everyone is of equal importance, therefore I am accepting to everyone.

I act thankful for everything that I have been given each and every day.

Things do not always go my way, but I try to always act positive.

I often get very excited when something or someone somehow surprises me.
